Crossfit Clifton is a gym located in heart of Bristol that specializes in Crossfit training. MCR recently installed a brand new custom rig, designed to fit their specific needs and maximize the use of their space. The custom rig was a collaboration between Crossfit Clifton and MCR, resulting in a product that perfectly suits the gym's requirements.

The Brief

Crossfit Clifton approached MCR with a brief detailing their needs for the custom rig. The gym had a unique space, and they wanted a rig that would make the most of this space, while also providing enough stations for their clients to train effectively.

Design

MCR worked closely with Crossfit Clifton to create a design that met their brief. The custom rig features multiple squat stations, pull-up bars, and other essential equipment for Crossfit training. The design also incorporated additional storage space for gym equipment, maximizing the usable space in the gym.

Installation of the custom rig was carried out by a team of professionals, ensuring that the rig was installed safely and securely. The installation process was completed within the agreed-upon timeframe, allowing the gym to resume normal operations quickly.

The club incorporated their gymnastic rings into the rig for effective athletic training sessions. Included in the rig was several wall ball targets for effective functional fitness workouts.

We supplied our Hornsby shelving for the club to store their mixed equipment including bumper plates and kettlebells and installed wall-mounted dumbbell storage to increase available floorspace.

Results

Since the installation of the custom rig, Crossfit Clifton has seen an increase in the number of clients training at the gym. The custom rig has provided clients with more space to train effectively, resulting in a better training experience overall.

The rig has also allowed for more efficient training sessions, with multiple clients able to use the rig simultaneously.
