CROSSFIT NAVALIA

Many CrossFit box owners got in touch once their gyms were allowed to open after COVID-19, seeking to understand how best to continue operating whilst keeping members safe and adhering to government social distancing guidelines.

The Brief

Andy from CrossFit Navalia in Gloucester got in touch as he needed to find a solution that would lead to additional rig space without the expense of completely redesigning his gym. Our factory is only a few miles from CrossFit Navalia, meaning that Andy was able to drop in with his ideas for a solution and a consultation with the MCR team. Coming together to explore his requirements and combining them with our expertise, we were able to supply a 3 bay rig extension within the week!

The Results

Here’s what Andy had to say about his customer experience in dealing with @moduflexcustomrigs.

“Covid’s ‘new norm’, meant a change of strategy for CrossFit Navalia, and we split 2000 sq ft into safely distanced zones, issuing each zone with a Concept 2, Airdyne, Box, Mat etc. This also meant we had to double our rig size from 30ft wall mounted to 60ft, and quickly.

I popped down to Bristol to see Moduflex Custom Rigs with little more than a pencilled sketch and some dimensions of what I needed. In addition to fabricating bespoke rigs on-site, they have a stock of pre-made rigs. Utilising a combination of both, delivery took just 7 days. Installation was offered, but we’re fairly handy with a drill, spanner and spirit level and were up and running the next day.

Members love the new set up, they are hammering the rig which matches our existing set up and looks like it’s been there from day one”.
